Terms and Conditions

1.     General

By placing an order with My Beautiful Doors, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2.     Product Representation

All images are for illustration purposes only. Final products may vary in colour tone, glass pattern, and finishing details.

3.     Measurements & Customisation

All doors are produced based on final site measurements confirmed by our team. Customised products are non-refundable once production begins.

4.     Pricing

Prices include standard supply and installation unless otherwise specified. Additional charges may apply for non-standard sizing, custom finishes, and site-specific requirements.

5.     Payment

100% Payment will be required before site measurement, production, or delivery. Orders proceed upon confirmation of payment.

6.     Delivery & Timeline

All timelines are estimated to be within 45 - 55 days after site measurement and may be affected by external factors. We reserve the right to adjust timelines without liability.

7.     Installation

Standard installation is included. Additional works may incur extra charges.

8.     Access & Site Conditions

Customers must ensure clear access and site readiness. Delays may result in additional charges.

9.     Variations & Changes

Changes must be made before production. Once production begins, changes may not be accepted or may incur additional costs.

10.  Warranty

We provide a limited workmanship warranty. This does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or external damage.

11.  Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase amount. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

12.  Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control such as natural disasters or supply disruptions.

13.  Refunds & Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before production subject to charges. Once production begins, orders are non-refundable.

14.  Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

15.  ⁠Rights to photograph

 By purchasing and installing doors from My Beautiful Doors (“MBD”), the customer grants MBD the right to photograph, record, and otherwise document the doors and

their installation process for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes. This permission includes, but is not limited to, the use of such images and recordings on MBD’s website, social media platforms, catalogs, advertisements, and other marketing materials. MBD will ensure that:

·       No photographs or recordings will include occupants of the property.

·       No identifiable details of the property’s interior, unrelated to the doors or installation, will be shown.

·       All marketing materials will focus solely on the doors, their design, and the installation process. This clause does  not affect the customer’s ownership rights in the property and is intended solely to allow MBD to showcase its products and workmanship.

16.  Fire Rating Disclaimer

Unless explicitly stated, all doors are non fire-rated.                                                                              

17.  Onsite Measurement Policy

 If an onsite measurement appointment is scheduled and the Client is unavailable or does not attend, a $40 rescheduling fee will be charged.

18.  Architrave Installation Criteria (if applicable)

 Architraves can only be supplied and installed if the wall thickness and clearance between the door frame and adjacent wall exceeds 90mm. If this condition is not met, only the frame will be installed.

19.  Existing Metal Frame Consideration

If no door frame is purchased and the existing frame is metal or plastic, only rounded door knobs may be selected. This is due to the need for enlarging the knob hole, which is only compatible with rounded designs.

20.  Delivery and Installation 

Doors will be delivered in secure crates to your address; installation will follow within a week. Please ensure property access and a sheltered spot for delivery. Do not open the crates—our team will handle unpacking. 

21.  Stair Access Surcharge

If the delivery location includes stair access, the client will bear any additional costs incurred for transporting doors and accessories to the respective floor. My Beautiful Doors is not responsible for these additional charges, which will be settled directly with the delivery team.

22.  Colour Variation Disclaimer

The Client acknowledges and agrees that;

1) all selected door colours may exhibit variations in tone, shade, and appearance under different lighting conditions, viewing angles, and surrounding environments. Such variations are inherent to the materials and finishes used and do not constitute a defect. MBD shall only be responsible for rectification or replacement in instances where there is a clear and material deviation from the selected colour, resulting in a completely different colour being delivered (for example, a significant mismatch such as a pink tone instead of a black finish). Minor or perceptual differences in shade or tone shall not be considered grounds for replacement or liability. 

2) Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are natural and not considered defects.

3) Handcrafted or custom features (including art glass)- Due to the artisanal nature of handcrafted elements—including art glass—variations in appearance may occur. This includes occasional missing or uneven lines on art glass, which result from the hand-printed process and are considered a normal part of its character. Such variations are not classified as defects.

23. Standard measurements

⁠Orders outside these Standard Sizes may not qualify for published website pricing and may incur additional charges.

24. Cancellations & Modifications

Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed. ⁠Modifications are not guaranteed; if accepted, they may incur extra costs.

25. Shipping & Delivery

⁠All delivery and production schedules are estimates only and may change at MBD’s sole discretion. ⁠MBD is not liable for delays caused by manufacturing, shipping, customs, or other circumstances beyond its control. Refunds will not be provided due to delivery delays unless required by law. ⁠Customers must ensure the correct delivery address is provided. Changes may incur additional fees.

26. Delivery Confirmation Requirement

⁠Customers will be notified once their order is ready for delivery. ⁠Customers must confirm a delivery date with MBD’s logistics partner within 3 calendar days of such notice. ⁠If the customer fails to confirm or schedule delivery within this timeframe, MBD may, at its discretion

1) charge additional storage/handling fees, 
2) deem the order abandoned, in which case the order will be cancelled with no refund.
3) ⁠MBD bears no responsibility for costs, delays, or damages resulting from the customer’s failure to confirm or accept delivery.

27. Risk & Title

Ownership of the products passes to the customer only upon successful delivery and acceptance at the agreed delivery location. ⁠Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer immediately upon delivery, or, if the customer fails to accept delivery, at the time delivery was attempted. If delivery cannot be completed due to the customer’s refusal, delay, or failure to accept delivery, MBD may, at its discretion 
1) store the products at the customer’s cost and risk; 
2) treat the order as abandoned and cancel it without refund.

28. Damage Claims & Returns

Doors are non-returnable, except in cases of verified manufacturing damage. ⁠Crates must remain sealed until opened under MBD’s appointed installer. Claims will not be accepted otherwise. ⁠MBD’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund at its discretion. ⁠Damage caused after delivery, by third-party installation, storage, or environmental conditions is excluded.

29. Warranty – 3 Months (Limited)

Warranty covers only proven manufacturing defects. ⁠Excludes normal wear, aesthetic variations, third-party installation issues, or environmental damage. Customers must contact MBD immediately upon discovering an issue and provide photos/videos for verification. ⁠Remedy is limited to repair or replacement, at MBD’s sole discretion.

30. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate specifications before order. Customers are responsible for ensuring site conditions are suitable for installation (including correct wall openings, flooring, and surrounding works). Where installation is arranged through MBD, it is performed by independent third-party contractors. MBD’s responsibility is limited to coordination only. MBD shall not be liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, or damages caused by installers, whether or not they are recommended or referred by MBD. Customers using their own installer waive all warranty and after-sales claims related to installation.

31. Indemnity

The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MBD, its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal costs) arising out of or related to:
•⁠  ⁠the customer’s breach of these Terms,
•⁠  ⁠the customer’s negligence, misuse, or modification of the products,
•⁠  ⁠inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer, or
•⁠  ⁠site preparation and conditions under the customer’s control.

32. Liability Disclaimer

MBD’s liability is capped at the price paid for the product. ⁠MBD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including business loss, profit loss, or delays). All other warranties, conditions, or guarantees are excluded, except where required by Singapore law.

33. Privacy & Security

MBD complies with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). ⁠Customer data is used only for order fulfillment and service purposes. ⁠Marketing communications are optional, and customers may unsubscribe anytime.

34. ⁠Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Singapore law. Disputes will be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

35. Severability & Entire Agreement

⁠If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. ⁠These Terms constitute the entire agreement between MBD and the customer and supersede any prior understandings, representations, or agreements (whether written or oral) relating to the subject matter
